Privacy policy

1. Who we are

motionfarm LLC (“Motionfarm”, “we”, “us”) operates motionfarm.io. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Address: 447 Broadway, 2nd Floor, Suite #699, New York, NY 10013, United States. Contact: hello@motionfarm.io.

2. What we collect

• Information you send us. When you email us, we receive your name, email address and anything you include, such as your company, project details or attachments.
• Technical information. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes standard server data (IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate: pages viewed, referring sites, browser, device type and country. It does not use cookies, and it does not identify you or follow you across other websites.
• Booking a call. If you book a discovery call, you do so on Calendly, which collects the details you enter under Calendly’s privacy notice and shares them with us so we can meet.
• What we do not collect. We do not use advertising pixels, fingerprinting or tracking cookies, and we do not ask for payment details on this site.

3. How and why we use it

• To reply to your message, prepare proposals and deliver work you ask us for (to take steps before, or perform, a contract).
• To run, secure and troubleshoot the website (our legitimate interest in a working, safe site).
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Who we share it with

• Hosting and analytics: Vercel Inc., which serves the website, processes server logs and provides cookie-free visit statistics on our behalf.
• Scheduling: Calendly, when you choose to book a call.
• Email: our email provider stores the messages you send us.
• Fonts: one case study page loads a typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when that page opens. See Google’s privacy policy.
• Collaborators: if we work together, trusted production partners may receive the project information they need, under confidentiality.
• Authorities: where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for our relationship with you and for any legal or accounting period that applies, then delete it. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period, usually a few days to a few weeks.

6. International transfers

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or US state laws such as the CCPA), you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Email hello@motionfarm.io and we will respond within the time the law requires. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

8. Children

This site is for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and we limit access to the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.

10. Changes

If we add tools that change how we handle information, such as a contact form or cookie-based analytics, we will update this policy and the effective date above before they go live.
